Ain't another park

Reading an article about electronic paper, I remembered PARC, Xerox's research center at Palo Alto in California. PARC is responible for great IT innovations since its birth in 1970. Innovations that, along with others, inspired me as an Informatics newcomer back in the 80's. Who haven't used a Graphical User Interface, a laser printer, the Ethernet. Promising is also the future with discoveries like the electronic paper. A place worth visiting, a story worth reading, at http://www.parc.xerox.com.

Thessaloniki @ New York Times

On April 8 2007, New York Times posted an article about my home city, Thessaloniki. You may read it at http://travel.nytimes.com//2007/04/08/travel/08next.html.

Cool article, although it mentions only city-center, modern-time Thessaloniki.
